Write a two to three page career plan for yourself.
Write about what or who you want to be. How are you going to get there? Will you need a fouryear degree or even a graduate degree to accomplish your goals? Is an internship or apprenticeship a better option for you? What courses should you take to prepare yourself? Is there a specific program at ASU or U of A that will help get you where you want to go? What are the checkpoints that think you should setup for yourself to measure your career progress? Where do you plan to be in five years? In ten years? Do you think one career will lead you to another career?
Be specific.
If you are going to medical school, write about which medical school you plan to attend, what kind of doctor you want to be, and why. For example, the medical school at Dartmouth College actively recruits Liberal Arts majors (Anthropology, English, History. etc.) on the theory that they can teach you how to be a doctor, but they can't teach you how to be a wellrounded human being.
If you are going to be an entrepreneur, write about what kind of business you plan to start and why.
In this class, a onepage essay is written in 12point type (for example 12point Times New Roman) with oneinch margins on the right and left sides as well as the top and bottom. You may write longer than onepage if you need more space. The surest way to submit your essay is to copy it to a Clipboard, then past the entire essay at once in the space provided by Canvas.
