Part 1: Briefly explain your reaction to each story: “Ten with a Flag,” “Amaryllis,” “Pop Squad.” How did the author try to change your perspective about reproductive rights and government control or government interference? For example, the following are two ways to make connections to a story.

Part 2: Compare and contrast the consequences of being or not being obedient and compliant to government/societal regulations suggested in “Ten with a Flag,” “Amaryllis,” and “Pop Squad.” Include at least two specific examples from each story such as a summary or quote.

Write a thoughtful and well developed 350-450 word essay including a thesis statement. (essay format.) Use transitions of compare/contrast such as, Similarly, Like, Unlike, In contrast, However, and so forth in your essay. Proofread carefully. (2 pts)
