History of Caesar
1. What does Plutarch seem to think of Caesar? Plutarch is a historian, in which one of his books talks about Caesar’s persona, which has a distinctive leadership that has been evident making him as an instrumental leader. It envisioned about the essence of having a successful life that was accomplished by Caesar. Plutarch called in to supernaturals, which was the key to provide confirming evidence that would help support his claims with regards to Caesar’s symbolism. Caesar possesses at least three things that would help improve and intensify his leadership that makes him to be a success. This includes the use of money being generated from his campaigns, military by conquering vast territories that are now located mostly in Middle East, and charisma. The three elements represented Caesar’s strength and unity to become a successful leader that generates a creative campaign to improve the integrity of his society.
2. Cicero was a Roman philosopher, theorist, lawyer, and constitutionalist. As a view by Plutarch, Cicero may not have been a significant military leader but his visions are considered to be a relevant quality to improve and influence the society as motives to support Plutarch’s claims. It means that the strengths of Cicero are his philosophical influence to the society while the weakness is about handling military exercises. Plutarch is focusing on providing historical values to each leader who contributed something to the community. In this position, he can become a significant contributor to other leaders due to his insights that can entail about the visions as well as the relationship of the modern society. In this position, he envisioned about the importance of objectivity as well as personal perspectives, which is to improve the value of providing historical value that can help improve the society in the long run (Gildenhard, n.p.).
