Unexpected Change (wedding plan)
King WaveThis week's written assignment deals with someone coming from outside your project team and placing unrealistic constraints on your project. These parameters are non-negotiable. Everyone in the course must find the proper budget and resource cuts. Chapter 22 focuses on change, in case you couldn't already infer this through the title.
With this as the backdrop, think about the changes you are required to make for your project this week. First, voice your frustration regarding Murphy's demands. Then, think about how you will approach it in the following context (remember to remind everyone what your project is): SEE ATTACHMENTS
- What is going to be the impact of this change on your project?
- How do you plan to communicate the changes to your project team?
- At first glance, what changes do you think are necessary to make to your project?
- Do you think your project will still be successful? Why or why not?
Remember, this is an academic exercise. It's important to engage scenarios such as Murphy because it really does happen.
