Theory Validity

In Chapter One (from Week One’s readings) you learned about internal and external validity of research results. This week, you are reading about social psychology theories related to various topics such as culture, gender, attitude, motivation, and automaticity, as well as theories and methods of social cognitive neuroscience.


·  That Cognitive Theory  and research it 

· Describe the theory and cite a real-world example or situation that demonstrates or supports the theory.

· Explain how and why your chosen theory has external validity, backing up your claims with your research.
