The use of Quarantine and Isolation to Control Measles

Despite elimination of measles in the United States, outbreaks associated with imported measles continue to occur. There have been several cases reported, the initiation of a measles outbreak seems to be associated with an imported case occurring in our country. Discuss quarantine and isolation to control measles in a population with low vaccine coverage. Your response must include the following information:
1. Is there treatment for measles?
2. How is measles spread and passed to others?
3. Are quarantine and isolation effective control measures when immunization isn't an option? If so, why? If not, why aren't these effective control measures?
