Physics Biography

Biographical Inventory guidelines:

Find an individual currently working in the field that you are planning to go into.. You will then write a biographical inventory of the individual’s life and career.

Your paper must be 5 – 7 double spaced pages(11 pt font) and include the following:

 A brief introductory section describing your career goals and your reasons for choosing the

individual (1/2 – 1 page)

 A section detailing the life and career of the individual focusing on key decisions and choices

that led to their current position. (1 ½ - 2 pages)

 A section describing the organization that he/she currently works for and their position within

that organization. (2 - 3 pages)

 Your conclusions from the interview. Describe what you learned that will help you on your own

career path. What changes will you make? (1/2 – 1 page)

Before conducting the interview, you need to research the individual and the company beforehand to

come up with set of interview questions. You are free to deviate and ask follow-up questions. These

questions must be turned in with your paper. The date, time and location of the interview must also be

included in your paper.
