Philosophy
birekeraho1Assignment:
- What are four different actions you can perform with your brain, but without the body? Also, briefly explain how each helps to expose the wide variety of actions possible by the brain alone (again, as in without the body).
- Using the three emboldened terms defined above (epistemology, rationalism, a priori knowledge) make an argument that exposes the similarity of thought between Descartes and Plato and conveys your understanding of said definitions.
Required: You must include the following
- Provide four complete sentences which each explain different actions (verbs) possible by the brain alone (i.e. without the use or in conjunction with body) that also include a justification as to how each action is different than the previous you have mentioned.
- In 5 to 7 sentences, make an argument that connects the epistemologies of Descartes and Plato using the terms and definitions provided above. Keep in mind that it would be anachronistic to call Plato a rationalist but we can though see similarities in these two thinkers.
