Sister Callista Roy's Adaptation Model describes health as an inevitable dimension of a person's life, represented by a health-illness continuum. Roy's premise is that adaptation occurs when people respond positively to environmental changes. According to Roy, the environment can either threaten or promote the person's unique wholeness.

Think of a professional situation in nursing you have experienced. Apply Roy's model to this scenario.
