Educate yourself on the complexities of the issue by reading online news sources to gain an overview perspective, particularly of the impacts of the presence or absence of wolves on local people and/or any special interest groups that might have a stake in the outcome. Investigate what sort of protections wolves are entitled to under federal and state endangered species status. 

Remember, this project is also an assessment of the content knowledge you have gained during this course so make sure to incorporate content from the first 5 weeks as much as possible. You can write a brief summary of a few resources or you can create an outline of the way you might begin to frame your Recommendation Report. Part I should be approximately 1-page (it can be longer if you choose) but it is more important that you demonstrate you have begun researching this conservation issue.
