Data - any data and observations you take (weighings, volumes, results of tests etc.). Write all data directly into your notebook, not your lab manual, as you take it. Tabulate data where appropriate.

Calculations - If there are calculations you must clearly, and logically, show all your working to get full credit.

Discussion - Explain your results, referring to the chemistry theory where appropriate. Did the data conform to what was expected? What does it show in relation to the experiment? If the results are not what was expected explain why. Possible sources of error (estimate experimental error in numerical results). You do not need to answer the Post Lab Questions in the manual unless instructed.
