You must explain each English 1302 Student Learning Outcome as individual body paragraphs. You must discuss two class activities/assignments which helped you achieve each Learning Outcome. Do not duplicate class activities/assignments in this essay. In essence, reflect your personal experiences during the term with respect to reading, writing, analyzing and revising processes instructed and demonstrated throughout the term; 

Your FINAL EXAM ESSAY must:

~Include a unique title;  

~Begin with an engaging and interesting introduction which includes an effective thesis statement;

~Identify each Student Learning Outcome as an individual discussion paragraph written in your own words; [Student Learning Outcomes follow the assignment instructions below]

  • ~Each Learning Outcome must be discussed individually as a full discussion paragraph; 
  • ~Effectively identify and discuss two class activities/assignments that helped you achieve each Learning Outcome; [Class Activities list follows the instructions];

~Include effective transitions to create fluidity between discussions;

~End with an effective conclusion paragraph.

  • The Conclusion must include the following information: 
    • Restate your thesis--do not copy/paste the thesis from the Introduction; 
    • Include an explanation of one assignment or activity that you did not expect in this class but that helped you understand a particular concept, even if it's an activity or assignment you already discussed;
    • Explain why revisions are effective in your own writing process;
    • Finally, identify and explain one assignment or activity that you would vote off the "1302 Island of Fun" if you had the opportunity to do so.
