Combination of Internet of Things with Artificial Intelligence in determining Consumer Behavior Based Energy Wastage


Problem Statement -

The global energy consumption is the fundamental problem existing in buildings. Based on diverse research, it is come to know that the continuous operation of Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) systems turns to be increasing the energy consumption in buildings. Hence, the research on the optimal operation and management of HVAC systems has gained tremendous interest. The lack of continuous monitoring of the usage of HVAC systems have leaded to cause more energy consumption. This made the research on shifting to the prompt Internet of Things (IoT) devices, which could have the ability to monitor building parameters and appliance states. With the adoption of IoT devices, the condition of room will be predicted by few constraints like building parameters, under information, outdoor weather, temperature, humidity and motion. With these information, the contribution of machine learning or deep learning could be used to check whether HVAC systems should be used or not, to reduce the unwanted energy consumption.
