Deviance behavior is a kind of conduct that is opposed to the social norm or violation of a culture's standards or commits an act against the norms, which is also unacceptable in the society. It may also mean behaviors that violate informal social norms, and this is called informal deviance (standards that have not been codified into law). Examples of informal deviance include assault, murder, robbery, theft, and rape.
