1.  Summarize, explain, and analyze the recommended steps (page 391) for teachers to take before, during, and after a read aloud. Please add your own example of how you have performed read-alouds in the classroom or how you will perform read-alouds with young children in your future classroom to illustrate these steps. Use at least one book as an example to illustrate the steps (Chapter 13).


2. Review Table 14.10 on pages 442 and 443 Helping Children Talk about Books. Summarize, explain, and analyze this table. Then select five ways teachers can help children internalize books and describe how you do or could perform each strategy with one book of your choice. (Part III).
