The main idea of the experiment is to observe that enthalpy change for a reaction is the same whether the reaction is carried out directly in 1 big step or in a few smaller steps added together.  When you get your results you'll probably notice that adding 2 of the heats of reaction in  kJ/mol = the value of the remaining heat of reaction.  To help see this, make sure you write out the NET ionic reations where the spectator ions have been eliminated.

To access the lab information, click on  the Heats of Reaction text in the upper right corner of the box in the virtual lab.  After doing the virtual lab (Links to an external site.), upload a single  lab report doc with screenshots of your results.
