" Yet still today, whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their hearts, but whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. We all, with unveiled faces, are looking as in a mirror at the glory of the lord and are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory this is from the Lord who is the Spirit." 2 Corinthians 3:15–18, (Cartwright, John & Hulshof, Chris (2016). Everyday Bible Study (p. 75). This verse is one of the most deep meaning verse. It explains how sin can be a trap, sin can be a silent trap it sneaks in to you and it can affect you life in many ways. Sin can also blind you from from listening to the Lord. Keep your trust in God and and stay true to his words. God will allow you to trust him through faith. Having a spiritual understanding when approaching the Bible can help you understand. Letting the unbelievers get a hold of you to change your mind about your belief system can affect you, insure yourself from taking that route.

Chapter 13 of our textbook focuses on the three roles the HOLY SPIRITplays in the bible. The first of these is INSPIRATION.  The most widely used scripture for this role is 2PETER-1:20-21, which says, “First of all, you should know this: No prophecy of Scripture comes from one’s own interpretation, because no prophecy ever came by the will of man; instead, men spoke from God as they were moved by the Holy Spirit”. The things we do as individuals are all planned by God and therefore are a part of his master plan for our lives. “The Bible is the PRODUCT OF GOD’S WILL, MEDIATED THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT to the men who wrote it” (Cartwright, John & Hulshof, Chris 2016. Everyday Bible Study p. 74).  The second role the holy spirit plays in the Bible is ILLUMINATION. God gives us the ability to read and interpret his word in a way that we INTERPERATE AND UNDERSTAND. To grasp the concept of illumination, EPHESIANS- 1:17-19 helps give us an understanding and says “I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, would give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the perception of your mind may be enlightened so you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the glorious riches of His inheritance among the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of His power to us who believe, according to the working of His vast strength”.  In the same way, God helps us understand his message, the UNBELIEVERis unable to due to the lack of faith. We can use the scripture to learn as “All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work” (2TIMOTHY- 3:16-17).  We have to remember though, not to use the scripture for a PURELY ACADEMIC PURPOSE. As for the last role, SANCTIFICATION, we are able to embrace what the “Holy Spirit does in the life of believers to enable them to GROW IN FAITHandBECOME MORE LIKE CHRIST” (Cartwright, John & Hulshof, Chris 2016).  We are taught to embrace the scripture and actually look at the true meaning as depicted in JAMES 1: 22-25.“We Either we choose to CONFESSand REPENTof our sins” (Cartwright, John & Hulshof, Chris 2016), and ILLUMINATE THE MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
