Instructions: The purpose of the presentations is for you to develop and demonstrate your communicational skills. You will provide a video presentation through PowerPoint on four (4) of the six (6) research articles from your Article Matrix assignment. The length of this presentation is 8-10 minutes. No shorter than 8 minutes and no longer than 10 minutes. This presentation will contain an overall background of the topic, explaining the subjects, methods of the study (be detailed), results, and conclusion from the authors from the four (4) research articles from your Article matrix assignment. Tables and figures should be presented. Additionally, tables and figures should be explained physiologically. When providing a table/figure in your presentation, you must cite the table/figure. Please follow the directions on “Steps on How to Record your PowerPoint Presentation”. This provides steps to convert your PowerPoint into a video with audio. Below is an example guide for your PowerPoint presentation and the grading rubric. 

Example PowerPoint Outline

c. What/Who is it often used for? Recommendations?

d. Dosing, Timing, etc.

II. Literature Review

a. Methods of the research articles (e.g., population, exercise interventions, testing measurements)

b. Results of the study (Figures and Tables)     Explain the results physiologically

c. What the authors concluded of the study

III. Conclusion

a. Recap of the literature presented 

b. Positive/Negative benefits

c. Take Home Message

IV. Full list of references at the end of the PowerPoint
