This case is somewhat more involved than previous work.  You will need to spend some time watching the material that I moved in here  rather than as a general lecture.   And you will also have to do some research to get a grasp of the material.  Many of the links are already provided.

So to start,  watch the documentary:  War on Whistleblowers: Free Press and the National Security State

Listen to the Whistleblower interview

Cambridge Analytica whistleblower: 'We spent $1m harvesting millions of Facebook profiles' (Links to an external site.)Cambridge Analytica whistleblower: 'We spent $1m harvesting millions of Facebook profiles'

And then review these articles on Cambridge Analytica (though you are welcome to access additional information): NYT ,  CNBC (Links to an external site.), CBS-  More Apps (Links to an external site.)

Facebook makes money by gathering data on its users and then selling access to advertisers (Links to an external site.). No one is obligated to use Facebook and Facebook is also entitled to make money.   Is Facebook -  or any other company- responsible for securing your data when their objective is to gather information on you in order to profit?  Do you agree with Christopher Wylie’s logic for being a whistleblower and why?
