Describe the relationship between training and needs assessment. 



A Needs assessment is what needs to be done for the organization to meet its goals and objectives.  Trainings are the activities that takes place with individuals and departments in order to achieve the goals of the needs assessment.  For example, we have Medicare compliance requirements that have to be met yearly at Aetna; in order to meet this requirement, we have several trainings on new laws and regulations that take place quarterly.  These trainings are not only mandatory but we also have deadlines for completion.  Failure to do so can cost the company several millions in revenue…Tyreena
