Bear in mind that, in general, audiences cannot read a lot of text while also listening to a speaker. 

  • Try to minimize text and break the text up with images or other media.  
  • Try to avoid the common problem of reading the slides aloud to your audience. Try to have your visuals and your narration complement one another, rather than overlapping too much.
