Administration not adequately understanding employees duties

Analyze the Problem and Ethical Considerations.

Health care providers a Happy Cardiology Services feel that the health facilities information is not adequate knowledgeable of their job duties and hence has not established an effective approach for the staff to share their concerns regarding their work environment. The inability for the administration to attain feedback from its staff regarding the various working environment limits its ability to adequately offer quality services to its clients as well as its employees. On the other hand, it is quite unethical for the employees to upcode patients as well as aggressively seeking payments from the patient. This approach tends to tarnish the image as well as the reputation of the health care facility. Additionally lack of satisfying the employees’ needs has also significantly contributed to reducing the morale of the employee as well as increased resignation of the staff.

Establishment of an effective communication Channel

This solution may allow the administration to effectively understand the various challenges that its workforce is experiencing and as a result being able to address the challenges and improving the performance .

The solution also tends to have a negative effect in it is a one communication channel. This means the staff communicates their challenges to the administration and the administration does not respond to the staff’s request or offer their position to the challenge.

Use rewards and punishment approach to improve performance and motivation among the staff

This approach tends to be quite beneficial because every staff member will be focused on providing quality care services to attain a reward hence remaining motivated at all times

A negative effect of this approach is that it may cause unhealthy competition between the employees and in turn impacting the quality of service being provided within the health care facility

Ensure that the health care employee are frequently trained in order to improve their competence as well as retain them in the organization

This solution tends to have significant potential effects which such as constantly improving the employees’ knowledge on their different fields and as a result improving their motivation.

The approach also has negative effects such as increase of stress among the employees due to the numerous hours of training and as a result it may contribute to their job performance.
