Telehealthcare can be described as the integration of technology on the aspect of trying to improve the delivery of health services to the people. This particular aspect employees a number of aspects that help in enhancing health via the aspects of public health, health education and also via the aspect of trying to deliver on the aspect of health education. From this definition it is evident that the benefits of telehealthcare outweighs its shortcoming and thus it is wise to adopt it in the advancement of technologies.

Telehealth tends to possess a great potential to improve the quality of healthcare and expand the access to healthcare services. It is evident that via the aspect of telehealth care, health services can be able to reach rural areas and thus via this many people living in such regions can be able to access health care services in an effective and efficient manner. The fact that this type of health system can be described as being digital means that a lot of people can be able to access it from the nursing homes and thus doing away with the need to visit hospital facilities( Martin, Anderson, Vincenzo, & Zai, 2017).

Telehealth care allows the health professionals to have access to the patient’s report at any time. The use of technology allows the healthcare givers to access the progress or the well-being of a patient at any particular time from any specific locale. This means that the physicians can be able to trace the well-being of the patient and also the progress of the patient without having to be on the same environment with the patient and this helps to make the provision of healthcare services efficient and effective (Donnelly, 2017).

The integration of technology in the healthcare system also helps to save costs for both the physicians and the patients. Telehealthcare makes it easy for the patients to consult from their respective healthcare professionals without having to incur transportation costs. This means that the patients can be able to access healthcare services at their own comfort zone. This makes the aspect viable in nursing homes since the patients can be monitored from these specific settings.

Telehealth helps in the provision of specialty services. Logically, the aspect of telehealth helps to ensure that health services are made feasible for patients living in rural areas. This means that specialists have the opportunity to visit these particular locations virtually and thus allowing the access of healthcare services from a wide range perspective through telemedicine. It is evident that via telehealthcare the health professionals can be able to monitor the well-being of the patients from the nursing homes.

In conclusion, it is crystal clear that the benefits of telehealthcare outweighs the shortcomings and thus this particular aspect should be embraced and be fully integrated in the healthcare system, therefore it is evident that the benefits of telehealthcare outweighs its shortcoming and thus it is wise to adopt it in the advancement of technologies.
