Assignment 2
One of the main assets of any organization is its data. Therefore, Database Management Systems (DBMS) have always been essential in all fields of business (e.g. Microsoft Access).
In groups of Six students, you are to prepare a presentation using voice over slides. The presentation should cover the following:
· What is a database?
· What is DBMS?
· What is relational database management system?
· Functions, Advantages and Disadvantages
· Two Examples of DBMS (other than Access)
· General Description of each example
Guidelines and Notes:
· One file should be submitted that include a recording of each student explaining her part on the presentation itself. Also, each member needs to introduce herself.
· Ensure that your presentation engage your audience and includes visual aids and some elements of creativity.
· Each presentation should be for a duration of 10 – 12 minutes.
· Assignment file should be submitted via Blackboard on Thursday week 13.
· The submitted assignment presentation must also include the following:
· A cover slide with your names, ID Numbers (you can use the one attached with the instructions)
· Soft copy of your presentation material (your PPTs). Must include proper details in the note section
· Teamwork table.
· All submitted materials are in one file named: (MIS101 Assignment 2-Sec 20x-Group Number)
· Ensure originality! Plagiarism is not allowed.
