Feedback/Comments:

Part 1

A. Create the following network in packet tracer (Place a screenshot below):

B. Configure each device to have an IP address using DHCP where the DHCP server is the wireless router. Only the server is to be configured to use a static IP address. All IP addresses must belong to the same network. (Show screenshots of the configuration of each device.) Take a screenshot.

Part 2

a) Confirm the connectivity of each device. From a single PC/Laptop, ping all of the available devices. Take a screenshot.

b) Access the Server using the browser application from any PC/Laptop. Take a screenshot.

Analysis

Answer the following questions:(20 pts each)

Q1. Consider this Network 192.168.0.0/16. What is the maximum number of hosts that can be used in this network? What is the broadcast IP address? What is the first available host IP address? What is the last available host IP address?

Answer:

Q2. Consider the following figure:

How many total interfaces are there in this network? What is the shortest path for packets to travel from PC(223.1.2.1) to PC(223.1.1.4)? Is it possible to have more than one shortest path? Give an example from the figure for such a case.

In the network that you created in packet tracer, the home wireless router was configured to be used as the DHCP server. Disable DHCP in the wireless router and configure the server to be the one to assign IP addresses using DHCP. In other words, the server will act as both a web server and a DHCP server. Take screenshot to confirm that everything still works after this change.
