Film Review – Title of Review

Only brief plot summary – only if needed…

Components need to include the following: name of the film, prominent stars of the film, basic setting, type of film, plot summary (very brief, please), film attributes including acting, direction, editing, key attributes, and background music. Add “film talk” to center your discussion.

State your evaluation of the film and include your recommendations and reservations for potential viewers.

Thesis based on film’s “greatness” and at least one favorite scene should be covered in detail. Add film terms throughout…

Prewriting – Cluster – (ask “who, how, when, related ideas, contrasting opinions, examples, time period, and exceptions” …)

Remember the “avenues to truth…”

then use freewriting ( just keep the pen moving – just covering possible ideas)… or Outline

3) Prewriting - Cluster selected thesis – then outline or freewriting draft

4) Peer Editor - Discussion of Prewriting

5) Rough Draft s – peer editor – mark them up

6) Peer Editor – film talk, creativity notes, class grammatical exercises, and personal writing goals.

7) Final Essay – due
