The team development is the important part in starting out a project. There are also challenges faced during the process of developing a team. The first and foremost of course is getting the team mates to put their trust on the team leader. Most often times, the individual who wanted to do a project is the leader of the team or the person with the most experience among a certain group of individuals is the team leader and getting the teammates to trust on their leader is no small feat. The team members who are new to the team might certainly have some doubts regarding the team leader and this suspicion would lead then to disobey or neglect the orders of the team leader which is not at all good for the newly formed team. The other important challenge is getting the team members to work with each other on the project.  The corporate work culture is highly competitive and most people believe that their colleague will steal the credit for their work if the situation permits which makes the team members to keep their team other members at a distance. This trust issues among the team members would affect the communication channels in the team which ultimately impacts negatively on the productivity of the team. The next challenge that the newly developed team faces is the resources shortage. Most often times the newly developed teams face the shortage of the resources which makes the team members further develop trust issues on the team leader(Jones, 2012).
