The purpose of a master application is to document and store all information that you may need to fill out an application, create your resume, complete the transferable skills worksheet, cover letter, and prepare for an interview. 

 

This document often contains information that may not be listed on a resume but is required on an application such as supervisor's name, employer address and phone number, wage, and reason for leaving. Compiling and storing this information on a master application can simplify the application process.

 

Download a master application from  Readings & Tools (MasterApp.xlsxPreview the documentView in a new window) Complete a master application for your job history. Remember to "save as" a document on your computer. Upload the Excel document to the drop box.

 

Career Services has requested that you send a copy of your Master Application to your prospective Career Services advisor.  The list of advisors and their emails are located in SHARC under Career Services. You will also receive a survey from Career Services this module, so please take the time to fill it out!
