Convergent learning is where a person will unitize problem-solving, learning the facts and follow instruction. Just because a person may know the facts regarding a problem it doesn't mean that they will be able to apply that knowledge or use that knowledge to be able to solve the problem. Divergent thinking utilizes different outcomes when trying to solve a problem and figuring out which one best fits the problem. For my training, I would make sure that everyone is following and learning at the same pace if someone isn't following as they should I will adjust the teaching technique to that person's learning style.
