The biggest advantages of immigration for the immigrants is better opportunities and to have better lives. Their children can also have the opportunity to live in a better environment. Additionally the immigrants are also able to benefits from the advantages in those nations if any that are meant for immigrants. For the host nation, it enjoys more cheap labour which means reduced production costs hence better prices that can compete with those from developing nations. Business expansion is another factor which also bears other labour related advantages such as outsourcing. It also encourages diversity in terms of workforce which may fill a gap.

However the disadvantage includes the mistreatments of migrants, language barrier, ignorance of creativity due to reduce wage levels, unemployment and insecurity. This i would opine immigration may have larger disadvantages than advantages.

Hi Lama,

You have correctly stated the benefits from immigration to these immigrants. People leave their home country in search of better jobs and living conditions. It is true that the organization is benefitted from this immigration as they get cheap labor, this leads to reduction in their cost of production. However at the same time it hampers the employment opportunities for the domestic people. If the people reject to do some task or expect a hike in the wage rate, the organization has millions of immigrants available who are ready to do assigned jobs. "
