“A window cleaner went to jail for two years yesterday when he admitted robbery. At Downtown Crown Court, John Smith (45) of New Street, Extown, was given a two-year suspended sentence.”
b) A man convicted on three counts of burglary is jailed for six months, eight months and twelve months respectively, the sentences to run concurrently. How long does he actually serve? Would your answer differ if they were to run consecutively?
