This discussion will focus on modern ideas of the "hero" and how modern ideals of heroism compare to those we have encountered this semester.
How do American heroes illustrate modern American values? Please bear in mind that not everyone has the same idea of what a hero is or even what American values are or should be. Please share your viewpoints but make sure to be respectful of others.
Modern - 2 paradigms of heroism in Modern America are the service type, i.e. firefighter, soldier, police, etc . . . and the sports type.
