I have a critical thinking essay for the Applied Ethics. It only needs to be 5 paragraphs on the justification of the Affordable Health Care Act (Obamacare) as an unjust law citing Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "Letter from a Birmingham Jail". I need MLA citation form.

ASSIGNMENT #2

FIRST CRITICAL THINKING WRITING

In this first critical thinking writing, you will use information from Dr. King’s “Letter From Birmingham Jail” to analyze whether a law is just or unjust.  In his “Letter,” Dr. King gave several definitions, examples, and explanations for the differences between a just and unjust law, and it is these that you will use in your evaluation of the law at issue in the scenario below.  First, read the following scenario, and then the question you will answer in your paper.

On a daily basis, Judy drove down 66th Street North in order to arrive at work.  This street frustrated her, because there were so many intersections with so many stoplights that she was often late to work.  One day, however, she read “Letter From Birmingham Jail,” and was very happy she did, because she concluded from her reading that the 45 mile per hour speed limit along 66th Street was an unjust law.  She began to drive this street at 80 m.p.h., and because she drove so fast, she missed many of the red lights, and never arrived late to work.

One morning, Officer Paulson stopped her for speeding, and the following conversation took place:

Officer Paulson:  “Lady, do you know how fast you were driving??”

Judy:  “Of course I do, Officer—I was going about 80 miles an hour. May I continue on?”

Officer Paulson (shocked): “Are you aware that the posted speed limit on this stretch of 66th street is 45 miles per hour?”

Judy:  “Of course I am!  But you see, Officer, I recently read “Letter From Birmingham Jail,” and I came to the conclusion that this 45 m.p.h. speed limit is an unjust law.  And, anyone who has read this letter knows that “An unjust law is no law at all.” (“Letter)  So, I don’t have to follow it, I don’t have as many lights to stop for, I get to work much faster, and I am much happier.  So, now can I get going?  You’re going to make me late for work!”

Officer Paulson (thinking for a moment, and then speaking slowly):  No, Lady—you can’t get going.  You see, I too have read “Letter From Birmingham Jail,” and you got it ALL wrong.  Let me set you straight about just and unjust laws as Dr. King wrote about them.”

WHAT DID THE POLICE OFFICER SAY TO JUDY?

Write an essay in which you set out what you believe Officer Paulson would say to Judy.  Choose 5 definitions, examples and/or explanations from Dr. King’s letter to support your conclusion.  When using exact wording from the “Letter,” you must quote and cite.  I will be happy to look at your paper as you are progressing.
