Bedside manners are a key factor in grading performance. How a provider talks to a patient’s family/friends and the actual patient can help shape someone’s view of an entire organization. In your opinion, how did the doctor handle himself in this scene? If Jim Carey were your family member, would you be satisfied with the provider’s composure or would you think the provider is not being engaged enough with the patient given this is obviously an “A-typical” situation? Your reply should be a minimum of 75 words.
