Wal-Mart is known for offering good prices on a wide variety of products and many people shop at Wal-Mart because the prices allow them to live better lives.  At the same time, Wal-Mart has been criticized for several of its business practices.  One of the business practices that Wal-Mart has been criticized for is that often, when Wal-Mart comes into a community, it drives small, local businesses out of business because they can’t compete with Wal-Mart on price and variety.
