  1. There most common ageism that does come to mind is that the elderly are senile, sick, sexually and very miserable at times. Therefore, the age over 65 the most common types of discrimination are in the employment, training, and some of the health care. Sometimes when this stereotype comes to mind, I see a elder person making an impromptu turn of when they are driving a car, and once in a great moon a elder will get lost and not know where they are at, so I will usually have to ask myself is that elder lost? do they help?

I believe that inclusion should be promoted more in our community to prohibit limitations and restrictions. People with disabilities are looked upon differently in today's society. Residents either feel sorry for them or believe the harmful stereotypes that are made against them. For example, society's perception about people in a wheelchair is that they are overweight and can move around and that people with a service dog are blind. Also that people with Down syndrome are not normal or can function like a normal human being. Many people have yet to realize how many different disabilities are out there.

What are some differences in the ways gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people are treated in the United States today compared to prior decades? How has this affected GLBT culture?

Artificial intelligence could most definitely increase a business's profit margin. Artificial intelligence helps to create a faster and easier way of completing certain tasks which lowers the business's cost and increase their profit. There will always be a risk when using artificial intelligence because errors and malfunctions/glitches can occur anytime. It is a risk that the organization and user must be willing to take before using. I believe that is why the organizations require the user to sign a waiver releasing the business in the case something goes wrong. Also, asking for permission to use certain parts of the user's system opens the door to more useful information.

The first thing that comes to mind when talking about artificial intelligence is voice recognition. I both have a like and dislike for voice recognition. I believe that it is a great tool for an employee who might have a disability and can't use their hands to type so they could use their voice with a program to scribe for them. However, when it comes to voice recognition with say a cell phone, I get frustrated because 50% of the time there are mistakes and I have to go back and correct the mistakes. I think overall it is a great idea and can benefit employees who need it. I also think that it can be a time save if there is an adequate version being used to speak your letters, emails and other documents while you are completing something else.

Businesses that operates 24/7, 365 days a year saves a lot of money. Much like James said, machines doesn't give attitude or doesn't get tired unlike employees. It saves the company from paying 100 employees for what a few machines can do and do perfectly every day and night. It limits people to jobs but it's great for the business. I think businesses can operate 24/7 365 days year after year but of course machines may need maintenance repairs or updates due to new ideas.
