Your initial discussion thread is due on Day 3 (Thursday) and you have until Day 7 (Monday) to respond to your classmates. Your grade will reflect both the quality of your initial post and the depth of your responses. Reference the Discussion Forum Grading Rubric for guidance on how your discussion will be evaluated.

Debates on Organizational Power and Politics

On Day 1 of this week, your instructor will post an Announcement assigning you to one of the following two groups: Positive Group or Negative Group.  Address the discussion question associated with the group you were assigned. To address these questions, create a YouTube video using the YouTube Webcam Quick-Start Guide for help. Include a link to the video and the script in your initial response. Your initial post should be at least 300 words. Support your response with a minimum of two scholarly sources.  Post your initial response in the group you were assigned above.

Note: If you have difficulty in creating a YouTube video, please reach out to your Instructor.

Guided Response:  For your classmate responses, select two classmates who were assigned to a different group than you. Respond to their posts with your assigned position in at least 100 words by Day 7.  No video is required for this task.
