I NEED A POSITIVE COMMENT BASED IN THIS ARGUMENT. BETWEEN 200-250 WORDS

Susie is facing a very challenging role with taking care of her elderly mother along with her small kids and husband. She is going to have to get outside help in order for this to work and for her mother to get better care. The nurse will have to get together with a social worker to get self-help care sent to the home to help her mother with baths and other everyday activities. This will take some of the stress off of Susie.

Family development theory focuses on the systematic and patterned changes experienced by families as they move through their life course (Family Development Theory - Basic Concepts And Propositions, Critiques, Research, Conclusion). Mrs. Jones is going through a large lifestyle change. She is going from taking take of herself and others to having to depend on other people. I am sure she feels as though she is losing her independence.

Nurses have long been healthcare advocates. They enable the patient to make decisions about their own healthcare needs. In this case, Susie will need a lot of teaching and support from the nurses. Health education encourages self-care, self-empowerment, and, ultimately, less dependence on the health care system (Edelman, C., Kudzma, E., Mandle, C. 2014). Susie’s main objective is to not neglect her husband, herself or her children and to not feel stressed out. It does take a number of people to care for just one.
