  • In McKenna’s article (Marketing Is Everything), the author talks about how marketing has changed and why marketing is everything. This article was written back in 1991. I would like you to think and elaborate how marketing, specifically the 4Ps of marketing, has changed since then. As you know, one of the 4Ps is the “promotion” element. Consider the implications of this change regarding promotion within the context of sales management and personal selling.

     

  • What should businesses do so that they do not fall in the trap of “Marketing Myopia” as mentioned in Levitt’s article (Marketing Myopia)? In your opinion, what would be the two most recent examples of companies that had fallen in trap of marketing myopia?
