How will your neighborhood district and the site change over time? Are there projections of growth? Is there are promise of new jobs? Revitalization? Will everyone benefit? Who will lose? This section should identify what the expectations are for the site, and what that will mean for the neighborhood. This might come from newspapers, city council decisions, information or collateral on websites, etc. What sort of ‘boosterism’ or rationale exists that supports the project? Your role here is to present the common positions. If your group disagrees with what is happening, you will have an opportunity to identify better alternatives below.
If there are illustrations of the development, or proposed transit changes, etc., include them here. Marketing is a powerful way to advance particular narratives. If there are already signs of how the project is impacting the area, take photographs and include them in this section. You should have at least one image. Be sure to include sources and must include captions.
