INTRODUCTION:
Include the following information in your Introduction:
The name of the book.
The author of the book.
What type of a book is it?
What subject/s does is present?
SUMMARY OF CONTENT:
Focus on the following in your Summary of Content:
Summarize what the author had to say about the subject.
Pick only the most important points to discuss.
You can often use the chapter divisions as a guide to what the main points
are.
CONCLUSION:
Here are some suggestions for your Conclusion:
What seemed to be the author’s main reason for writing the book?
What was the most interesting thing you learned?
Why did you find it interesting?
Did you find the book effective? Why or why not?
Your completed book report should be two pages single spaced with double
spacing between paragraphs which will be about 1000 words.

 


Through your local library or book store find a book (minimum
250 pages long) that relates to alternative medicine. Read the book
thoroughly and write a 1000 word book report on what you have learned
and how it may benefit you in your practice. Try to find a current book,
something you could recommend to your clients. Please stay away
from encyclopedias or books that are similar to the ones you studied
in this course.
